The 200-year-old “Drostenhaus” is situated in an unique location on a small peninsula of the lake Haussee in Feldberg. The historic building is re-edified above the basement vault of a media-evil castle.

After a lovingly restoration it has been reopened in the year 2002. Now the building offers with its 12 opulently equipped appartements for two up to eight persons an incomparable possibility to spend some recovering days in the nice seascape of Mecklenburg Vorpommern.

The last ice-age formed at its glacier- boarder this singularly beautiful landscape shaped by lakes, forests and a diversified terrain. 

The described environmental situation provides ideal conditions for active recovery vacation including hiking, cycling, canoeing, riding and even water skiing. Or just relax on the building´s outdoor installation consisting of an area of 5000 m² with a 200 meter waterside including a bathing facility, a terrace, a sunbathing area, and possibilities for barbecues and bonfires. 
There is a special bar for anglers.

The whole terrain and its private parking area is hedged and very tranquil due to the location on the peninsular. Nevertheless it costs only a five-minutes walk to the community centre with shopping facilities and restaurants.

It is possible to book breakfast every or only several days or to make use of our bun service. Here if requested, fresh buns are delivered in the morning.
